Grade 3-5 #NorthsideSTJ Students had the opportunity to learn about Direct Current (DC) Power and Alternating Current (AC) Power from the Bakken Museum today during their "War of the Currents" show. Thank you to South Central Electric Association and Great River Energy for covering the cost of the event. It was an "electrifying" show for our students.
#NorthsideStJ students "jumped" their hearts out today as they celebrated the Kids Heart Challenge. Thank you to Mr. Monson for helping to organize this year's event.
#NorthsideStJ Families, we will be ending the week with a few "theme" days.
Thursday, April 7th-Mavs (wear purple) or Gophers day (wear Maroon/gold) to celebrate their matchup in the Frozen Four tomorrow night.
Friday, April 8th-Twins Day (or your favorite baseball team day) to celebrate opening day for baseball.

Kindergarten Round-Up is quickly approaching and we are excited to meet our potential incoming class of Kindergartners on April 7th.

#NorthsideStJ has officially wrapped up another I Love to Read Month with the grade 3-5 Almost All-Nighter. What a fun way to cap off a great month! Thanks to everyone that helped plan to make such a memorable event!

#NorthsideStJ K-2 Reading night was "one for the books". Families had the chance to read together, play Sight Word Candyland, Sight Word Snakes and Ladders, Making Words Connect 4, create an alphabet book, create a story recall chain and bring home a book to keep. Thank you to the families that attended. Thank you to our Learning Specialists, Mrs. Bottem and Mrs. Chapin for helping to plan a great night. Ms. Romsdahl and Ms. Solorzano for helping to lead a station. NHS Members and Ms. Piercy for assisting with sibiling care. Also a thank you to our PTO for helping to support #NorthsideStJ K-2 Literacy Night.
#NorthsideStJ held their "Out of this World" Formal Dinner this afternoon. What an event! Thank you to all those that helped make this possible #Taher for providing a great meal, Mrs. K for all the planning that went into the event along with support from Ms. Silvia, the Northside PTO, Northside Student Leadership, amongst other supporters helping to carry out this event. A great day for all #NorthsideStJ students.
