Dear St. James Middle and High School Families,
I am writing to introduce myself as the new principal of the Middle/High School. My name is Mike Fugazzi, and I was the Assistant Principal at Northside in 2013-14. I have been the principal of Lincoln Center Elementary in South St. Paul the last seven years, but couldn’t pass on the chance to come back to this wonderful community.
I am incredibly grateful to re-engage with this school community and am very eager to work with students and staff. As we begin this school year, I wanted to share a few things about me as a school leader.
It is very important to me that all students feel welcome here.
Building positive relationships is something I strongly believe in.
I am dedicated to our district’s mission and vision.
I believe strongly in working with families as partners in the education process and look forward to partnering with you.
We are all learners.
There is a lot of work that goes into the start of each school year, and more communication will be coming your way. Thank you for your support during this transition, and it has been exciting to meet students and staff these first few days.
